Cross-drilled hydraulic manifolds fail at the intersection, not along the bore, so the position tolerance in the callout is really a promise about how the ports meet each other rather than about any one hole in isolation. We hold that with a single fixturing for the whole port set — every port drilled from the same datum, in the same setup, so accumulated fixture error can’t stack between them.
